Checking out the Pukeko.

Today we sent a blog comment to our buddy class in the South Island.  We talked about where their school was and how it is close to where Mrs Shirley grew up.

We found out our buddy class is called Pukeko classroom.  We have lots of Pukeko at our school.
They play on our field and Mrs Flavelle in our office feeds them bread.

We went out to say hi to our Pukeko.

  1. Hi Room 13 and Mrs. Shirley! Great to see the pukeko on your school grounds - we also have lots of Pukekos around our farming community but we haven't had any visit our school! Thank you for sharing this with us!
