The magic show

 On Friday we had a magic show.  We learnt all about healthy eating and saw some amazing magic tricks.

Our visit to Pt England Kindy

 Today we were invited to Pt England Kindy to see their Kapa Haka performance.

Kim Kim got to see her little brother and lots of us had cousins who sang and danced for us.

They sang waiata and they did a poi dance.  We clapped and clapped.  They were awesome.

Then we were lucky to see their newly hatched chicks.  The chicks have just come out of their shells.They were yellow and fluffy.  They were SO cute.  They made us smile.

Writing about shadows

 We have been learning about the sun.  We know that the sun gives us light.  

We went outside to see what happens when the sun hits our bodies.  We saw shadows.

Our Trip to Kelly Tarltons

 Today we went out to visit Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium.

We were very excited to see all the amazing sea animals.  We saw Sharks, stingrays, sea horses, turtles and Penguins.

We loved watching the penguins have their lunch.  They swim in the icy water and walk on the snow.

Sights and sounds of Fiafia 2021

Thursday was our amazing FiaFia.  Everyone at Pt England School got to perform in front of our community.  There were ALOT of people there. 

It took alot of mahi to learn our songs and dances.  We had been practising all term. We were very excited  to put on our costumes and take the stage.  We hope you enjoy this movie of some of the highlights.

Our PENN movie - Watch this Space

Each term we make a movie showing what we have been learning about.  This term our movie is about our inquiry topic "Watch this Space".  We have been learning about the Sun, and how it effects us here on Earth.  We hope you like our movie.
